People here are always pleasant, friendly, and fast, which we really appreciated. However, the food quality has unfortunately gone downhill. We ordered a spicy baked salmon roll, and it was barely baked. The avocado in every single piece was black, and overall it just didn’t taste fresh. We also ordered two Kingster rolls, and the shrimp on top had mayo thrown all over it—definitely not how these rolls are usually made. We used to love this place when they were on Calloway, but this experience was very disappointing. Just last week we ordered from Love Sushi on California Avenue and everything was amazing, so this was a huge contrast. We decided to give this location on Panama a try since it’s closer to us, but sadly it did not meet expectations. We won’t be coming back. Save your money and order elsewhere.

Clean, fresh environment with plenty of TVs and comfortable seating options. Clever is the name of the game with this place. Edamame served on the house like bread/butter or chips/salsa, excellent attention to detail in the dishes and decor, and creative yet simple execution across the board. Generous portions, friendly staff, and an alt radio station to make me feel like I am where I am (Bakersfield). The list goes on and on. Make an effort to stop by here if you need to treat yourself ☺️ For those that care: Salmon was super fresh and the green mussels are SO GOOD!

Their menu and their sushi is soooooo amazing. Everything is fresh and great prices. We try to stop there every time we are in Bakersfield. The service is great…very friendly. If you’re looking for amazing sushi…this is the place!!! 😋🥰

this bar far is the BEST SUSHI IN TOWN!!!! Lunch special bento box is a Must HAVE!!!!! Portions are very large + food is always made fresh to order. Customer service is the best in this World . I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here.!!! The waitress was so sweet she even came in with a complimentary dessert it was the best experience ive had thanks Love sushi

Came here for Mother’s Day and the food was spectacular! Incredible friendly service that consistently asks if you need anything while dinning. Each time a customer walks in or out Chefs greet. I gave a 4 star because although there is a menu for alcohol, they have yet to get their liquor license. Once they have that I will certainly give the 5 stars they deserve. ***Update. Came back for my Birthday and they now serve alcohol. Service remains wonderful.
